Ø Storage
Fees::
Storage charges will be assessed after a
parcel has been at TSB for two weeks. Storage rates will be
assessed by the pick-up rate on a weekly basis. For example,
a $3.50 box will have a $3.50/week storage fee, and a $7.50
box will have a $7.50/week storage fee. Pallets remaining
after 24 hours will be charged $70, and $70/week thereafter.
Storage charges can be avoided by prompt pickup!
Ø Parcel
Disposal/Refusal Fine:
Parcels stored at TSB Shipping longer
than 60 days will be subject to disposal or refusal at
management discretion. An attempt will be made to contact
the customer to communicate this before any action is taken.
If we receive no response from the customer after one week,
the item will be disposed of or sent back and a $50 fine
will be added to the customer’s record.
Ø Parcel
Forwarding:
TSB does not forward parcels - no
exceptions.
Commercial Parcels
Ø
We
can provide storage, pack orders, and ship to your U.S.
customers. Contact TSB Shipping for an estimate
specific to your product and needs. TSB does not do bulk
mailing or product distribution through the
U.S.
mail.
OTHER
SERVICES & FEES:
COD’s
(includes parcel depot fee)
Parcels
arriving Collect on Delivery must have payment on deposit
with TSB prior to package arrival. Couriers do not accept
cash and will only accept Canadian on U.S. Fund accounts or U.S.
postal money orders. Couriers will attempt delivery 3 times
only, then return the package.
Incoming per parcel: $6.50
Outgoing
per parcel: $9.50
PARCEL REFUSAL
If you wish to
have a parcel refused, please wait until you receive our
email notification and then reply back requesting that
we refuse and return to sender. If refused the same day
as the notification is received, no depot fee will be
assessed.
If you request refusal after that date, we will still
refuse the item
but you will be charged the standard depot fee.
** Please note that there are normally no
problems with returns via
UPS or USPS (other than bulk mailing or Smartpost) but
Fedex is more rigid about refusal
timeframes. They
will not accept returns after three days from the
original receiving date.

Emails
are automatically sent as they are logged into our
tracking system. There is no need
to reply to the notification from TSB unless you have
questions or are unable to pick up parcels in a timely
fashion. If
you would like to designate someone to pick up for you,
please provide an invoice/receipt for them so that they
can prove to us that they know what they are picking up.
Our staff will now be asking customers for some kind of
verification of merchandise if customers are having
friends or family pick up in their place.

Please Note:
If
you have tracked a parcel that shows as delivered but
have not received an email from us, please feel free to
call us and we will be happy to assist you.
Just
a reminder that the email notifications are sent as a
courtesy only; it is ultimately the responsibility of
each customer to track their own packages. |
ADVISORY:
TSB will NOT be
taking names of people wanting to pick up
their parcels the same day they arrive. The parcel
volume
is too high to accommodate such requests.
Please wait for your email notification (which means
your parcel
has been processed into the system) before coming to
pick up.
If you see that something shows as "delivered" but you
haven't
received our email notification, you can still come in
but will have
to wait until the parcel is processed.
Additional
Handling
Goods
not shipped in a cardboard container (pails, crates, or
cardboard boxes over 60 inches on the longest side or over
30 inches on the second longest side) receive additional
handling surcharges.

Box/Packing
Material Disposal
There
is no additional charge for cardboard boxes catalogued as
"XS or
“S” (extra small or small) in the notification email, unless there is more
than 10 boxes left at one time or are packaged in golf-club
size boxes. Recycling fees will apply to all other sized
boxes.
Shipping Insurance
Up to $100
insurance coverage included in shipping price for UPS and
FedEx shipments. Maximum insurable value of $50,000 for UPS
and FedEx with some exceptions and shipping service
requirements. Additional insurance coverage is available for
properly packed parcels.
