Storage:
Parcels
able to fit on the shelf that remain at TSB after 30 days will receive a $3.00 per week
per package storage charge until picked up.
Ø
Floor
Storage:
Larger
packages or multiple parcels for one customer that require
floor storage will be charged a warehousing fee after the
first 14 days.
Our warehouse fee is $.33
per square foot per day (minimum $1.00 charge) and is
calculated at the time of pick up.
Storage and
warehousing charges can be avoided by prompt pickup.
Ø Additional
Storage:
Due to limited space in our warehouse, any parcel needing additional storage (after they have been signed out) will be charged $25 per week.
Ø Parcel
Disposal/Refusal Fine:
Parcels stored at TSB Shipping longer
than 90 days will be subject to disposal or refusal at
management discretion. An attempt will be made to contact
the customer to communicate this before any action is taken.
If we receive no response from the customer after one week,
the item will be disposed of or sent back and a $50 fine
will be added to the customer’s record.
Commercial Parcels

We
can provide storage, pack orders, and ship to your U.S.
customers. Contact TSB Shipping for an estimate
specific to your product and needs. TSB does not do bulk
mailing or product distribution through the
U.S.
mail.
OTHER

Parcels
arriving Collect on Delivery must have payment on deposit
with TSB prior to package arrival. Couriers do not accept
cash and will only accept Canadian on U.S. Fund accounts or U.S.
postal money orders. Couriers will attempt delivery 3 times
only, then return the package.

Emails
are automatically sent as they are logged into our
tracking system. There is no need
to reply to the notification from TSB unless you have
questions or are unable to pick up parcels in a timely
fashion. If
you would like to designate someone to pick up for you,
please provide an invoice/receipt for them so that they
can prove to us that they know what they are picking up.
Our staff will now be asking customers for some kind of
verification of merchandise if customers are having
friends or family pick up in their place.

you have tracked a parcel that shows as delivered but
have not received an email from us, please feel free to
call us and we will be happy to assist you.
Just
a reminder that the email notifications are sent as a
courtesy only; it is ultimately the responsibility of
each customer to track their own packages. |
If
you have tracked an incoming parcel and are planning to pick
it up the same day it arrives, please phone us so we can
pull your parcel as it comes off the truck. This will
save you and our staff valuable time. (We don’t often have
time to stop and sort through the hundreds of parcels that
get delivered at one time.)
Additional
Handling
Goods
not shipped in a cardboard container (pails, crates, or
cardboard boxes over 60 inches on the longest side or over
30 inches on the second longest side) receive additional
handling surcharges.

Box/Packing
Material Disposal
There
is no additional charge for cardboard boxes catalogued as
“S” (small) in the notification email, unless there is more
than 10 boxes left at one time or are packaged in golf-club
size boxes. Recycling fees will apply to golf club boxes and
all other parcels logged in as “M”, “L”, “XL,” or “pallet”.
If packing material is involved, additional fees will also
apply. Please come prepared to pay for recycling if your
boxes are larger than the small designation. Point Roberts
is a very small town and is responsible for paying for
removal of all its trash and recycling. If you dispose of
your packing materials anywhere else in Point Roberts, TSB
is always notified and a littering fee will be assessed at
your next visit.
Shipping Insurance
Up to
$100 insurance coverage included in shipping price for UPS,
FedEx, and DHL shipments. Maximum insurable value of $50,000
for UPS and FedEx, maximum of $24,999 for DHL, with some
exceptions and some shipping service requirements. Additional
insurance coverage is available for properly packed parcels.
